Croft 36

After an early morning game of golf ( Mr P) and an early morning swim (me) we searched for a cafe and found Croft 36: the most amazing honesty hut.  We helped ourselves to hot langoustine soup , hot curried veg pasties, langoustine salad  butteries and frangipane tarts. Stuck the money in a cash box and sat outside to enjoy the most delicious feast.
The extra is a collage of the inside of Croft 36 showing the hot soup pot and the heated pasty cabinet. Also the swimming beach, the golf and our lunch spot by the MacLeod Stone. Mr P says to tell you that the Isle of Harris Golf Course is apparently one of the best 9 hole courses in the world.  A buttery is a Hebridean bread roll with a large quantity of whipped lard to make sure the fisherman's sandwiches had lots of calories to keep them going on a cold day out at sea. Not that it was cold today, wall to wall sunshine  20C in the air, 16 in the sea
