Soggy Sheep's.......

A damp morning. That kind of drizzle that soaks you to the skin without you realising it .
The pet lambs were not too happy looking when I fed them either. Down to 15 now as one decided to croak it yesterday.
A morning spent hauling the weaned bullock calves to a field next door.
Then after lunch ,brought down another 2 lots of cows and calves to wean.
Then back home and hauled 4 loads of weaned heifers up to the hill.
By the time I did all that it was 7 pm,so loaded up with feed and headed down the road to feed all the lots of heifers there. Then home via Tesco to fill up the Landover with diesel and the jerry cans with petrol. It's funny how petrol has always been about 10-15 p cheaper than diesel,but now it's all the same price. A cynic would think that now everyone is buying petrol cars cos of all the emissions zones in the major cities nonsense that the fuel companies are on the take again ! Or is it just me that smells a rat ?
