Sunset Spectacle …

… early this evening, viewed from our front porch, looking across the street.
It’s the season of such spectacles—this is the first of them. We are fortunate to have a perfect opening between houses, down fairly close to the horizon. Marylee went to the kitchen after dinner and noticed a lot of light shining in. She was surprised because we had just had a heavy thunderstorm so she went and looked out the window. She quickly told me to get out with my camera and this is what I saw!
