The White House

Well I got off at a perfectly good time on my way to this cottage just outside Duns in the Borders and arrived about 4:30pm. There’s usually a point before I leave for a holiday when I wish I wasn’t going and that’s how I felt yesterday. But it was lovely to arrive here and sit in the sun with a cup of tea and then read for a while. I wanted to make the most of the sunshine as the forecast isn’t good from Sunday onwards. Tomorrow will be the day to explore the nature reserve which is very close by and one of the main reasons for choosing this cottage.
