Loom with a view 2

Popped into the blip exhibition in Glasgow at Trongate 103. This is a fine exhibition of some of the best blips and those that are not on display are in the free book available at the gallery.

I chose this one because I liked the pun, the arrangement of the cloth and the cloth itself. When I started work harris tweed was almost a uniform for male teachers, largely because it was so hard wearing. In fact the cloth is indestructible, the lining is more likely to go before the tweed will.

This is a fine tribute to a great Scottish cloth apparently much admired by senior CIA operatives, but please don't let that put you off it or the fact Dan Brown likes it.
