Another Bee, Another Lens

Reading Debbi's posting of yesterday prompted me to pull out my 60mm Laowa 2X ultra macro lens.  This lens is capable of focusing on subjects as near as 2.4" away with a 2:1 magnification ratio for greater-than-life size macro shooting, but it is very difficult to use handheld because of manual focus only.  I managed to capture a few decent shots by using continuous shooting and moving in and out slightly, essentially focusing with movement rather than turning the focus ring.  It's best if viewed in large.  

I couldn't stay out longer than about 10 minutes because of the intense heat, but it is a good thing I tried because heavy thunderstorms have moved in now.
