A Worm's Eye View

One of the ways our local councils are saving money is by reducing the mowing of grass verges. Fantastic! Now wild plants and creatures can enjoy these mini-habitats undisturbed.

Daisies, buttercups and crane's-bill decorate this verge in Northampton.

Another great day of bright skies and warm sunshine. I got 2 walks in today while still getting work done in the office - and I watched a bit of the French Grandslam tennis too.
