The New Toy

For many years Mrs W has gone on about getting a food dehydrator for preserving food.  It started when we had the allotment.   So finally I gave in and bought her one for her burpday (today).
 
Actually I allowed her to play with it yesterday and she dehydrated a carrot.  Today she is experimenting with other things.  Only time will tell, but we are hoping for bags of dehydrated pears this year instead of trying to freeze them.  The word Saturday comes to mind, but don’t tell her, I’m keeping my head down  . . .
