Done!

The last day of my job at the botanical garden - done, finis, kaput. Bittersweet but also a huge relief. I'll look forward to contributing in more pleasing ways.

A busy day teaching, always fun. Then my last meeting with my amazing assistant (but she can always contact me and we will remain friends), and finally a lovely retirement party with my best women friends. A gorgeous evening with a lovely breeze and pleasant temps. Great conversation. Now I sleep. More tomorrow!

This is Asclepias tuberosa or Butterfly Weed in full bloom, attracting pollinators like crazy!
