Roses are blooming

It may have been one of the wettest July on record but the garden certainly benefited from the rain and roses have had their best year ever.
 
Even I managed to grow some acceptable ones that didn’t succumb to the many diseases and problems they are susceptible to.
 
As for the Barbie film (M says he will not be going) the pink craze has some unexpected followers. I heard today from a friend who has a home hairdressing business that one 90 year old client asked to be dropped off at TKMax in Stirling so that she could buy a pink teapot and toaster.
