Buttercupped!

Walking my butterfly survey transect today at the nature reserve took me through two fields that are full of buttercups. I suddenly noticed that my boots had turned yellow from all the buttercup pollen. Starting to see good numbers of Common Blues as well as a few Dingy Skippers and Small Coppers in these fields that were growing winter wheat just a few years ago.
