Mellow Midweek

I have had a rest day today apart from light housework, quite a bit of life admin, plenty bed rest, laundry and music. Sam Cooke and 60s music mostly on in the background.

I felt pretty exhausted yesterday and didn’t Blip. Feeling a bit better for commencing the antibiotics. Energy still low.

I’m very happy that I managed to raise £78 for the Samaritans in Dumfries doing the July Samarathon challenge.

I don’t think I would undertake another paced walking challenge for a good while, even with my Fischer walking sticks from the Specialist Chronic Pain Physiotherapist at the Pain Clinic.

I really enjoyed it and don’t regret doing it but have perhaps pushed myself rather too hard. Thanks very much to all who donated and supported with me your encouraging words. Very much appreciated!

I have been eating, resting and drinking plenty water as well as Lucozade Zero Pink Lemonade flavour. It has Aspartame in it which is a sweetener I try and avoid in soft drinks but it has helped with my energy.

Feeling incredibly zapped with the chest and throat infections but getting there.

Made up with the boyfriend yesterday and spoke to him on the phone for a few minutes today as I am trying to reserve my voice and rest my sore throat.

I’ve been feeling pretty stressed and overwhelmed as life has been hectic with my usual health woes as well as the current lurgy. My breathing is much better which I am relieved about as my asthma had been very flared up.

I’m sure I will be on the mend soon if I take things as easy as I can manage.

Watched some comedy and started reading this autobiography (today’s Blip) of the late Sarah Harding who was a member of the pop group Girls Aloud this evening. I picked it up in the closing down sale in The Works a while ago. I love reading autobiographies and get through a lot of them.

Thank you for all your stars, hearts and comments, will play catch up tomorrow as always! :) xx
