Aya

Met Ron, Yuki and Aya today.  We haven't seen each other since they came to Essex just before Christmas (and we went to the ballet in London). They are in Istanbul for a few days.  First we had the mandatory baked potato lunch in Ortakoy, and then the just as mandatory boat trip. Another very hot day (38ºC-40ºC) and not even a breeze on the Bosphorus. Some browsing the souvenir market stalls and some street cat and dog watching (and feeding) but really too hot for much wandering about and by 17.00 we  had arrived on campus where they had a stroll around memory lane before we went,  joined by Melissa and Orhan, to Bizim Tepe for dinner and drinks and a really enjoyable, evening.
