A bench with a view

This was my view this morning when I needed a rest on my little wander!  A very quiet Downs so it was nice to have it all to myself - apart from a few goats, birds and butterflies!  Even the Thames estuary was empty with no ships or boats coming in to head to the ports further inland!

A mostly grey day with rain forecast for the afternoon - we're now halfway through the afternoon and no rain has fallen! the forecasters seem to have it wrong again!
