Southwold was fun!
Im and I were both (re-)visiting old memories, as visiting Walberwick (adjacent to Southwold) to see family friends was one of my early memories, and the "Under the Pier Show" on Southwold Pier left a lasting impression on Imogen when she encountered its quirky games and automata in her childhood.

We walked along the seafront to the harbour (across the water from Walberwick), then later went for a walk at Hollesley Marshes (by HMP Hollesley Bay) in the early evening.

The onion harvest had begun, so we kept encountering tractors towing trailers of onions leaving an amazingly heady scent in their wake. These few days in Suffolk more than doubled the number of turnips, onions, and pigs (each) that I've seen in my life... Wood pigeons too perhaps.
