A Meandering Life...

Leading the way

Today Matilda led her fellow Morris Minors into the Yorkshire Dales. From our campsite we headed through Leyburn, Reeth and past Tan Hill Inn, Britain’s highest inn, before heading down into Swaledale where we stopped for lunch in Keld.

Next we climbed over Buttertubs and down into Hawes before heading back to Leeming where we had a group meal and prize giving in the evening.

Again the rain kept coming and going but as we drove along the Pennine Way towards Tan Hill the scenery was breathtaking. Apart from sheep on the road I also spotted 2 very large owls, something I didn’t expect.

Tomorrow we head east towards Pickering and the North York Moors.
