Ferny morning

The sun shone through the tree fern in our front garden, casting shadow patterns on our bedroom blind when I opened the curtains early this morning. Today the sun only shone for these few minutes - it rained most of yesterday and all night, and continued throughout the day today. It's been dry lately, and the rain is very welcome.
