Kaybees Bits

Well That Wasn't Meant To Happen.

We had a visitor this morning before breakfast ............ a wee moose!
It had its leg caught in a trap. It was alive and well and didn't appear to have anything broken. So it was released to live another day.

SWMBO and I headed over to Pittenweem for the Arts Festival since the weather forecast was good.

Our friendly jeweller and his good missus were not opening their door to the general public this year but we found Caroline with a couple of friends in a shop they had taken over to see if they could sell any of their stuff It Caroline about 2 seconds to notice that SWMBO had washed the pendant made by James (we knew she would get a row if it hadn't been cleaned to show it off to its best so SWMBO got in there first).
James has almost stopped the jewellery making .... it is almost all 'medical implants' now (well, he is 74 and giving back to society).
We didn't buy anything there (this time ...... I have bought loads before) but we did buy a bit of pottery (it is the 'Blip Bank') and saw loads of wonderful stuff in all sorts of art mediums. ........ and I took snaps of none. I don't think this was an official exhibit (which is a shame)
What I did snap were things like peeling paint, a wonderfully shaped handrail and a simply wonderful house number.

The other 3 shots over there are a beautiful Gladdy, the Bas Rock (looking very insignificant) and a window in establishment we had lunch in. That however took me by complete surprise as I pressed the shutter by mistake and it is actually a reflection on the table top.
