Justification

The rains in Dar es Salaam are not easy to predict, yet in theory there are distinct seasons. It isn’t usually a problem. However today the second I was hitching my leg over to mount the taxi motorbike, the heavens opened, and within three drops it had turned torrential.

The driver wanted us to get off and cower underneath a random ledge 50 metres from my front door. The rain eventually abated and we moved on. It was an incredibly soggy start to the day.

I spent far too long today writing justifications in Excel boxes for 250+ budget lines related to our recent proposal.
