Glass jewel

The glass 'stones' in this brooch are clear and colourless like diamonds but the artificial light I shone on it for the photo made them look blue. I wore the brooch pinned to my black wool coat last night for the soccer-match-viewed-from-a-box. It was not the night for the old puffer coat.

I was the most dressed up person in our party, and maybe even in the whole stadium. For everyone else it was a casual affair but not for me. I love this brooch and whenever I looked at it, it sparkled like the night.
