Busy day on the knapweed

Another sunny visit to Howe Ridding this afternoon. The rain has done more damage to the butterflies and there were only a few to see. The clumps of knapweed were popular with the insects and this cucumber spider!
We popped in to visit some friends nearby and their new bee border is looking fantastic, see extras. Heather says she is not a gardener and just puts things in where there’s a space. I think she has done well! See extra.
