Cyclamen hederifolium

The Ivy Leafed Cyclamen, the commonest hardy garden cyclamen, widely grown and sometimes naturalised in great quantities - as here although there are more spectacular plantings.  In common with many of what are thought of as autumn flowering plants, it is starting it's display quite early but there will be flowers until November regardless :-)

After a gentle start it's been a busy day at home.  More energy thankfully., despite it being a warm, muggy day.   Some household chores sorted, quite a few bulbs repotted, the new raised bet out front topped up and some spare bulbs planted mostly in the already settled part.   I had Bella while Jamie was in Aberystwyth with Rachel and the dogs had an outing to the ball field where Meg managed to lose her ball in the stream.  Doh!

An early night beckons after a short visit to pottery.   I'm off on a fun day out rather early tomorrow.
