Over The Shoulder Glance

Lovely bit of rim lighting on this little house wren. There are a lot of them about at the moment, obviously a productive year for them. Even though they are a tiny bird I managed to get quite a close image of this one and I liked the over-the-shoulder glance back towards me.

For such a small animal they have quite loud birdsong, although a lot of times I hear a harsh rattling/chattering call, probably a warning to me - a possible predator.
