Moorhen Reflection

My morning walk took me past Killingworth Lake where I liked this rather splendid moorhen looking as if it was walking on water - and with a nice reflection.

In the extra: We're sad to see that the coot parents who managed to produce 3 chicks in a second brood after losing their first brood, seem to have lost them too. Nature can be cruel - they looked very dejected hanging around their nest
