Fond farewell

We had one last walk along the riverbank and through the grounds of the hotel before heading off in our trusty camper van, taking lots of happy memories with us. However, this isn’t the end of our holiday yet as we still have a few more days in the van before returning home.
We headed off to set up camp at Tarland for one night and my cousin and his wife drove out from Aberdeen to spend the afternoon with us. We had a good catch-up, a tasty picnic lunch in the sunshine and a walk along one of the Tarland trails before they had to say goodbye as A was setting off for Ireland in the morning so that he could climb a few hills.
