Getting to know you!

We had another huge thunderstorm during the night which rumbled on, quite loudly at times, for over an hour.  There was also a lot of rain which was great for the garden,  The sun came out at lunch time so all's well with the world again.  Today is the Assumption of Mary which is a national holiday in France so we've spent a quiet day at home.

Susie's cat Panda and Kitty have been getting to know each other and so far all is well.  Panda tends to gently bat the kitten with his paws and quite often the kitten goes all submissive and lies on his back, as in my blip.  At other times, the kitten runs towards Panda wanting to play and Panda is not too impressed but generally they seem to have come to some sort of understanding.  It's fascinating to watch.  Earlier today the kitten came inside and spent a few minutes being cuddled on the sofa!
