Capturing my Journey

Cameron Lake

In the morning we set off on a hike together up the side of the lake. A narrow trail making it hard to pass folk with our 6 dogs. We got about 1.5miles up and decided to turn around we felt 3 miles would be enough for the old dogs after yesterday's. Our friends headed onwards going for a long hike for the day. When we got back down from our hike and the dogs settled in the truck we went paddle boarding again. This time taking some pictures. It was so peaceful out on the water we really enjoyed it. Interestingly the mountain at the back of this lake is actually in America!

We headed back to waterton town for a iced tea and coffee and lunch from our peaceful wee cafe we had found. The heat had really got up in town. We are fortunate we can lock and start our truck and it runs for 10 mins before turning off meaning the dogs could have 10mins of ac while we got our lunch and had a quick look at some of the shops. We then took them to the riverside out of town for a paddle and their dinner and we sat together waiting for our friends to finish their hike. Then we all headed to our cabin we are staying at for the next few nights. It was 40 mins from the park. A lovely cabin with a washing machine and dryer which was handy. The dogs soon settled in and we nipped to a nearby store for takeaway dinner. Then played wingspan together.
