Small White on Lavender

At lunchtime I spotted a Small White in the garden so grabbed my camera and my phone, expecting it to disappear quickly. Luckily for me, it stayed for a long time flitting from one lavender stalk to another, drinking the nectar. It even landed on my phone and rested for a while giving me time to study it closely, right in front of my face, a lovely experience.
