Rainy day

The weather has broken and we had lots of thunder, lightning and heavy rain during the night, I did not sleep well!
The rain has continued for most of the day which will be very beneficial to the garden and the birds seemed happy this morning getting their feathers washed.
An indoors day for me, plenty to do as it has been outdoor weather for so long. Tried out a new recipe for cheese and marmite scones which worked very well, nice with a cup of tea this afternoon.
