Eastern Amberwing

I went to Brookside Gardens this morning in spite of the heat and wasn't disappointed.  In fact, I was delighted to find that there are now, more than ever, large swathes of native plants just full of butterflies.  I have never seen so many Cardinal Flowers in various large areas spread throughout the gardens.  There was so much to shoot, that I forgot all about the heat, until I was done and then I was quite a sad sack.
