Yarrow ( Achillea millefolium

One of our regular garden centre visits with Kanyl.  I suppose the real reason for the visits is because we know there will be a good range of potential blips.  Out of the array of flowers I chose this Yarrow with a Hoverfly I am not familiar with.

I am familiar with Yarrow as a wild plant when it has white flowers.  Plant breeders have worked wonders they are now available in reds, yellows, oranges and pinkish.  Interestingly some birds use Yarrow to line nests.  Tests have suggested this helps to reduce parasites in the nest.
