Concreting in the posts

This morning the builders completed setting the poles in the post holes dug by the diggers over the last couple of days. This afternoon concrete was delivered in two mixer trucks, and a concrete pump sent it down a long pipe to fill the post holes. The next stage is for the concrete to mature and next Wednesday the builders will return to complete the new retaining walls. 

Its a massive job and far from cheap, but it will ensure that the house is safe from the bank collapsing if there is another set of storms like we had earlier this year.
