Sugar snaps

More garden survivors: the slugs seem to prefer to nibble the leaves rather than the tasty pods. Definitely something to plant in larger quantities next year.
A day at home, with short but sociable visits from three old friends (one after another, not all together).  I should have ended the day with an hour-long dentist's appointment. But I backed out of this, and deferred it to early September. I'd like to be feeling more robust before facing it.
