Lady in pink

I blipped a photo of some blue perennial cornflowers back on the 21st of May..... here are some in pink. I think they are wonderful.

Had some business in Peterborough today, so I stopped off at Barnwell Country Park to collect some free compost. I managed to fill five large potato bags full of it .... completely filled the car. Didn't cost me a penny. The very helpful young man even shoveled it all in for me. Excellent!

On the way home, I used my 60% off voucher to purchase a lovely ceramic planted container with Osteospermums and four other species, plus some liquid feed for my tomatoes.

Hardly spent a penny. Flowers for the wife, and tons of free compost. Result!
