It's Flower Friday!

This morning it rained and afterwards I took some quick shots of the rain drenched roses in the front garden.  This was the shot I liked best and I liked it even more after I'd added a filter!  Many thanks to our regular FF host BikerBear.
This afternoon the skies eventually cleared completely and I set off through the various roadworks that seem to plague our area to visit my friend C and her partner for a catch up chat and a really delicious lunch of pasta from Pizza Express.  We did have a lovely afternoon chatting, although their poor puss continues to go downhill and I suspect that soon the call to the pallivet will have to be made.
