Sunny Saturday

Overnight rain, early morning cloud and now lovely blue skies!! A very nice Saturday! The breeze is rather welcome too, that might just be my age!!

So more gardening on the agenda this morning - I blame watching Gardeners World and Beechgrove on a Friday night! They give me too many ideas!! Nice to get more pruning done and Dad was happy to get the shed painted! And when we came indoors from the gardening we found Fluffy 1, the neighbourhood cat, asleep on the sofa! Alright for some!

Lots of butterflies about again today and also nice to see the hummingbird hawkmoth in the garden briefly this afternoon! Wish he'd posed on this sunflower for me!

been baking too this afternoon! Made some apple scones with fruits from the apple trees! Very yummy they tasted too!
