Taking Stock....

More seed sowing success with these lovely Stock now flowering! The scent is amazing and the hummingbird hawk moth has been enjoying over the past couple of days.

Another humid day, so been trying to take things slowly!  More pottering and pruning in the garden this morning and tidying up some pots that are now past their best - nearly time to start thinking about Autumn plants!!  Spotted the first cyclamen flower out in the garden today!

I've also been reading this afternoon - Ariadne by Jennifer Saint - and really enjoying that.  Also been spotting a few planes - Hercules, Spitfires, Red Arrows - heading off from Southend airport to the various airshows they're at today.  I have been hoping to get some good photos from here but they've just been flying off in the wrong direction!
