I headed out early on a relatively short (3.5 km) run from home up to the top of the nearby Y Graig nature reserve.

As I reached the rock face I disturbed a buzzard which noisily took off.

The steep climb to the top of the limestone outcrop is rewarded by spectacular views across the Vale of Clwyd.
