Today was spoiled by the agency getting back in touch to say that whilst I did well at Friday's interview they have decided on someone with more skills in newer technology. This is quite fair, I haven't kept my web skills up to date since I started taking photography more seriously as there has been so much to learn.

So instead I have registered with HMRC and am now officially self-employed. Just need to find some clients now...
