Cathedral Lane

Went up to the St James Quarter via York Place; found Raeburn House (Henry Raeburn, the painter). Came around by the Picardy Place exit down Cathedral Lane; the top end of it still has a big mobile crane, but most of it has been tidied up.

Out later to Stockbridge; the Clay exhibit that was closed yesterday was open, and busy. Some very good ceramic pieces, and inspiration for commissioning.

To Inverleith pond; swans and four cygnets all present, and some tufted ducks along with the gulls and the mallards. Had tea from Milk, watched people, dogs, and kite flying .. it was warm, 21C, with a gusty west wind, so they weren't getting the kites up very far.

Back by George IV park; looked at the #dundassite which has new puddles. Drainage is going to be an interesting challenge.
