Living garden

When I went out to photograph the pot of lilies this morning this slow worm greeted me. It was about a foot long and is neither slow nor a worm.

I cut some roses to take along to Pondicherry for Hazel who fainted an week ago and hurt her back. I knew she wasn’t up to visitors so I dropped off the flowers with her youngest daughter (who was in #3 daughter’s class in First School). She lives across the road and another daughter next door so Hazel will be well looked after.
