Heat Is Murder

A little play on the title of an album by the Smiths before Morrissey became a professional  Arsch.  Apparently the US Version had How Soon Is Now on it.

The title is because it's back to a German Summer here.  After a night of not really sleeping because it's too hot, came down to my office.  27,5°C at 8 in the morning.  A mere 81.5°F.  Despite open windows.

The plan was to stop work before it got stupidly hot this afternoon.  Didn't work.  Way too many phone calls and you never leave anyone without a solution.

Then there was a Software Update.  "It'll take 9 minutes to install" it said.  45 Minutes later, logging on was possible.  Seamless & transparent as always.

Today is also a sad day - on this date in 2019, we had our cat Moot euthanised.  He is still very much alive in our hearts.
