Precision Delivery

I’m pleased to say I've had a much better day today, the arthritis pains aren’t as bad and I’ve done quite a few household jobs, as well as pottering in the garden for a bit in the sunshine.

A house near us is having major works done, and today some building supplies were hoisted over the roof into their back garden from a hydraulic trailer crane parked on the road outside. We had a good view of the process from our own back garden, and could clearly hear all the warning beeps as well. That’s as close as I wanted to get, because when the load had been deposited the empty attaching chains were swinging wildly as the arm slowly retracted (see extra) and it looked a bit scary.
