A first!

I planted some cucumber seeds earlier this year with no expectation of getting anything. This is the first cucumber. Not the perfectly straight things you get at the supermarket. I never knew they grow with little spikes. Like needles. Apparently they are removed before you buy them although there are some variations that don’t have them. If you don’t hear from me again, you know it didn’t go well. ;-)
