High and Dry

I was off work today to help Julie sort a few bits out with her Dad still been in the care home. They are keeping him in for the moment but still undecided on the long term future . 
Once we had sorted what we could today we decided to make the most of the rest of the day and the lovely weather and get some lunch at the coast and enjoy a stroll along the beach . We headed to Mablethorpe as its been a few years since we have visited. A few things have changed but a lot of it is still the same.
We decided to head along the beach to check out the Tidal bell which we have heard about and seen it been blipped. A steady stroll which turned out to be a good couple of miles but nice and relaxing in the sunny conditions.. My main shot is of the Tidal bell  on a rather deserted stretch of the beach and an extra shows the main beach in the centre of Mablethorpe. I did also spend some time laid on the beach while Julie read a book .
Back home for a chilled evening , back to work in the morning
