Windmill 'De Vier Winden', Sint Annaland

'De Vier Winden' = 'The Four Winds'

Built in 1847, this is another one of those mills that more often face away from the road than not.  Either that, or the gate is shut and there's no way to photograph the whole mill, especially as there's a thick hedge around it as well.  Today, the open gate meant I had to take advantage of the opportunity or forever hold my peace.  It's been a cancelled Plan A more than a handful of times.  Notice the tight angle?

Wonderful hunting weather!  But it was also good for snoozing in the garden, and for kitchen duties, and for genealogy research, and for having various good laughs with AW.  We also cycled to our usual DIY and looked at various 'outside' doors because we'd like to eventually replace both doors in front.  They are not cheap, although not too expensive either, but, if I find work, they will be very doable.  AW also bought some plastic sheets to protect his own homeopathic plants.  He had a failed harvest last year but the four sturdy specimens in the backyard now look promising.

Thankful for positive feelings and a neat house.
