Green Heron

Lately there have been more Green Herons at Huntley Meadows than I have seen in a long time.  I managed to catch this one in the early morning light, just after he had done some grooming and for a brief second, his head feathers remained ruffled.  I liked the look. 

There were lots of tree frogs as well and I have loaded one into extra for your viewing pleasure.  These cute little critters are only about an inch long.
