FINALLY!!!

Finally had a monarch butterfly in the garden today! I was beginning to wonder...

It was a miracle that I saw this lady (I think it's a female, from what I can see of her wings). I was in the house, vacuuming, when I happened to glance out the window and saw an orange butterfly on the butterfly bush at the end of the front porch. "Fritillary?" I wondered. Looked closer - nope, "MONARCH!!" so I dashed outside with my camera and fired off some shots before she flew up and over the roof and disappeared.
