The Promise……

……… of a fine, sunny day…. With a virtually frost-free start. This view is of the river crossing just below the ponded area of the Taylor River. Maisie loves paddling in the water at that spot.
I spent a few hours weeding the very narrow strip of garden along one side of the driveway. About four years ago son Duncan and I filled part of the strip with gazania plants. Many now need replacing and I plan to take cuttings from existing plants to fill in the gaps. There are weeds aplenty in the strip . I only managed to deal with about a quarter of the length of the strip today. It is a long driveway.
