Art or Rubbish?

On the way to my mother’s house, I saw this chair standing in the greenery, close to a car park in the Taunus hills. Nearby are some picnic tables anyway, so it’s not that there’s nowhere to sit down after a walk. 

It could be art of course, and I might just be unable to appreciate it - but I suspect that someone decided do get rid of an old piece of furniture by dumping it in the forest.
